Lucent Stinger is a carrier-class DSL access concentrator designed for forward-looking carriers and service providers. The Lucent Stinger provides a modular platform for deploying broadband services over copper. Stinger features high-capacity traffic aggregation capabilities and robust "always on" performance. A single Stinger unit supports up to 672 xDSL ports and four OC-3 trunk interfaces.
Lucent Stinger is fully compatible with core switches, such as the CBX 500 and GX 550. It is a high-speed central office DSL access multiplexor (DSLAM) for ingress to the main switch core, and is suitable for trunk-to-trunk switching.
We carry and supply line interface modules, line protection modules, Trunk modules, base units, control modules and part selector modules as well as full systems.
